Where I am.

I know some of you have been wondering what I've been up to for, yes, I once was the girl whom you might find here -- on SU -- at almost every moment of almost every given day.

Life has changed.

Well, no. Not really. Life is still, well, life. I still get up each and every morning. I still brew a cup of tea. I still fight the good fight on the way to the office. And I still pay my bills.

Listen.

I'm not an easy girl to know.

I'm not an easy heart to navigate.

And I've never, truly, really known what it was that I was looking for.

But I do believe that I've finally found it.

I know some of you who follow this blog have commented on the letters that I post. I know a few of you know the full story behind them but, again, I know that there are some who feel it is, perhaps, a creative writing exercise on my part alone.

It's not.

There is -- quite decidedly -- a him to my her.

And we're taking this off of the paper.

We're moving in together.

So, as scarce as I am now? It's just bound to continue.

I'll check in. I'll get mail. I'll be about from time to time.

But there's a world out here - and a life to live - and I'll be damned if I miss out on another minute of it.

In closing, mad props to John Mayer for the quote posted above because John is right.

I think I've finally found my magenta...

...and I'm off to color the world with him.
