�To get all our minds off Sasquatch fakery, here's a revisit to my favorite hoaxed mythical creature of all time: The "real unicorn" caught on video. What makes it so epic and unforgettable is the fact that it was revealed to be a joke video done by an advertising company but some people STILL insist it's real even after seeing blatant evidence to the contrary. It's an anti-unicorn conspiracy, you see. I think the GA Bigfoot guys could learn a valuable lesson here. Admit their Bigfoot is faked, wait for the 'true believers' to declare it a conspiracy and then charge them $499 to drive them out to the remote Bigfoot site. They could even have someone put on a Bigfoot costume (they could use the one in the freezer--it could probably be dry-cleaned to rid it of mildew and possum guts) and stumble around in the underbrush and then charge the believers another $500 or so for exclusive footage of the sighting. Bingo! Eaaaasy money!

Oh, and here's a nice photo of Michael Phelps because I'm damned tired of looking at Bigfoot.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Well, actually unless your life is really, really boring this won't be all that important.

I am taking a break from blogging for a few days because I have a pair of these:

with more due to show up any day now. And since they're only a few days old and still at that "OMG WTF IS THAT HORRIBLE MONSTER FROM ABOVE?!?!!!" stage and running in terror to the other side of the cage every time I drop crickets in, I'm having to hand-feed them every couple of hours. Just imagine 7 newborn babies. 7 tiny newborn babies with scales and voracious appetites for bugs.

So I've kinda got my hands full for now. And if my digital camera hadn't been destroyed by that rogue wave at the beach, I'd take photos of them to show you all.

It's weird Critters week, apparently. Behold, ice worms:

The scary thing is that scientists are breeding more chickens with teeth, just to prove that they can. For the love of God, why? These are probably the same people who figured out a way to cross spiders with goats to make web-producing goats. Some scientists clearly have too much time on their hands.
