I still think SU is handy (I was used to thinking of it as way cool and got to let my friends know this exists and so on and so forth) but I may be too dumb/set in my ways to like the new SU.
Firstly - I have yet to know my way about the site(is this a site? no, didn't think it was) which prevents me from both blogging like this (accidentally found the way to do it - shouldn't be by accident if I was smart or SU's redesigned thingy user-friendly should I?) and from giving thumbs up or down and review any new site I come across as I no longer see it on my StumbleUpon ACCOUNT as an easy, free-flowing reflection of my voyages on the web. I see them (for I keep trying) only as tiny screen-caps of the sites I've been to organized in such a fashion that even if the latest dozen show up(and with no feedback to me me me..lol, sorry) the whole backlog doesn't show up. I've tried FAQs and customer service and contact us. Ultimately they are frustrating in the extreme and leave me with the certain knowledge that I am at thirtysomething way too old to be within SU's new "demographic target" and at "limited computer/IT abilities" too ignorant to keep using it.
Once upon a time... I don't know, I had if not fully-fledged friends certainly fellow travelers Here. Will one of you help me, elucidate me, tell me to move on and get the heck out of here?

P.S. WTF is that"sticky" box and should I or shouldn't I? Ye gods, I yearn for easier ways to get things done ... or ways that didn't make me so irredeemably stupid

This is far worse than I could have imagined. Nightmarish, impossible to navigate, edit, customize, blog on. So I won't bother. "Old" doesn't equal "in need of updating". Sometimes it just means that a brilliant idea kept being true to itself and it evolved gently and in accordance with the original *thing*. There aren't enough thumbs down to express my disgust. BTW, Bye!

If it ever rocked (still thinking about that one) it no longer does. In fact it sucks like few social nettythingies do. I can only think of myspace and facebook as they suck more. For now... I am perfectly sure SU can find ways to degrade itself and its users (and former users) even more.
All I keep wondering is WHY?

So let me get this straight... *this* was the new SU you were inviting me to visit (I never did, I was quite happy with the one I had)?
It is impossible to navigate, it takes away one's sense of being (much less belonging) and is profoundly dehumanizing. I would have thought it would have been within reason or courtesy to inform your customers (for we clearly are that as of now) before they paid (this month!) for the privilege of keep on doing something that was interesting, fun and pleasurable.
Since all those factor are gone I will NOT be renewing any "support" in the US$ terms as you clearly don't need it and most certainly do not deserve it.
It's been a fun couple of years. Bye-bye!
