OMG I love her skirts. Very bohemian, romantic, kitschy, unique, Baroque and Rococo in style. Love it. Expensive skirts but with the amount of handwork that goes into making them, the prices are sensible.

Very awesome possum...love this site and took a 2 hour cake-making and decorating workshop from the chef who teaches the classes. She's a chock-full of info - focuses not only on the taste and art of cooking but the science which is extremely helpful and priceless.

I visited this place recently and I loved it. Such a cool place to gather wares and ingredients for chefs, caterers, bakers, restaurant owners, event holders and food/cooking enthusiasts.

Renaissance Soul Life Design

I ordered the book not long ago and am curious to read it once it arrives. I think this type of nature/personality has been discussed for some time, going back to the likes of Socrates and Aristotle and the days of Renaissance period with discussion of Renaissance Man and Homo Universalis...and to the modern-day subject of polymaths, all of which I wholly identify with.

It is good to see more discussion on this. It is a legitimate and well-needed one in a current society that doesn't have room for those with many strong passions, interests and branches of knowledge. Society rewards those who are dedicated specialists in one or possibly two areas of knowledge.

Current-day discussion objectively sheds light on what polymaths and "renaissance souls" go through in the negative sense. Too many would assume that elucidating one's struggles is forever a chance to brag or show off and that greatly undermines those struggles and real identity issues that are symptomatic of being a polymath with many passions/loves.

Great site for lots of info but the site could be designed and structured better to maximize its potential and usefulness. A web designer with very strong programming skills would possibly get a deal here to refresh this site since the informational content is good.
