One of the best Nikon news/info sources on the web. His reviews and technical info are spot on. And his Dslr manuals are flawless. If only Nikon would bundle them with their camera's the world would be a much better place.

Best prices for an authorized Nikon dealer. I've heard some of their "Demo" models are in fact refurbished items being passed off as demo's, so that isn't very cool. But for new gear, you cannot beat them. And i've never had a problem ordering from them. Though i've never had a problem with a shipment, so can't say much about their service if there is a defective item, or issue with shipping.

Welcome - Families and Dogs Against Fighting Breeds - FDAFB.org Seattle

The lady who started this org was bitten by a pitbull and now she is convinced all "fighting breeds" are evil and need to be banned. It's horrible what happened to her, but for peet's sake, get a clue and read some facts...

Any dog that is the size of a pitbull or larger can be a danger when not properly raised/trained. And the myth about pitbulls being the most deadly dog is bunk... Mixed breed dogs are responsible for more dog bites/attacks than any pure bred dog. Which makes sense, since people who pick up a mixed breeds tend to be less informed and or active in dog ownership and invested less time and money in their animal. Just go and look at dog training classes, 90% of the puppies in them are pure breds. Mixed breed owners just don't care in most instances about those type of things. And the end result is mixed bred dogs being the most "deadly".

Bad dogs are the product of bad dog owners, nothing more. Right now, pitbulls are the pure bred dog of choice of bad owners it seems. In the 90's it was rottwielers, in the 80's it was German shepards. And surprise surprise, those were the most "Deadly" dogs of those decades. And just like those, when the "New" and "Cool" dog hype takes hold with a new breed, these bad owners will move on and leave pittbulls alone, just like they did German Shepards and Rott's.

If people really want to stop dog attacks, go after the owners... Get laws put in place to stop bad dog ownership. Fines, Jail, etc etc.. It is the ONLY thing that will ever actually make a dent in attacks.

(And no i do not own, or have ever owned a pitbull. But i do have large breed dogs that these lunatics would declare a danger.)
