Whoa... just re-watched the animated movie, "The Iron Giant" - really adore it to be honest... and finally did some research on the voices coz i couldn't place a few... the Giant was Vin Diesel - that's quite a shock. But at least i finally was able to lay claim to the voice i knew, harry connick, jr as Dean.

But dang... vin... i sorta admire that.

Learning to love differently is hard,
love with the hands wide open, love
with the doors banging on their hinges,
the cupboard unlocked, the wind
roaring and whimpering in the rooms
rustling the sheets and snapping the blinds
that thwack like rubber bands
in an open palm.

It hurts to love wide open
