nlang - I'd rather have a virus on my computer than use any of Symantec's products.

I figured I'd try out Norton on my brand new laptop only because it was shipped with it. What a HUGE mistake. That thing totally clogged up my computer, didn't give me an easy way to temporarily disable it, and its own removal tool didn't actually remove all of Symantec's applications when I tried to. Don't waste your money on this crappy piece of software... heck, don't install it even if you get it for free like I did. It'll just make computing hell for you.

There's some good FREE anti virus software out there. I use Avast these days and am quite happy with it.
