Alde - From the page: "%u201CThe arguments of liberals are more often grounded in reason and fact,%u201D the Illinois Democrat wrote..."

Wow, truly... Amazing. I've read a lot of liberal writings in the past year, rarely is anything based on fact. I'd say that the truth in the matter, is that liberal's arguments are based mostly on emotion and what they think to be true, which is usually far from the truth.

Two arguments just off the top of my head, that most liberals ignore the facts are Minimum Wage, and Income Taxes. Both plays are pure class envy plays; pit the large majority of people who can vote them into any largesse, against those who pay the majority of taxes. On the minimum wage debate, they'll argue that no one can raise a family of four on a single minimum wage income earner; ignoring the fact that a mere 2.6% of all workers make minimum wage, Half are under the age of 25. Of all workers, less than 2% of workers over the age of 25 earn minimum wage. Truths the liberals choose to 1) Deny, or 2) Ignore.
