danstg0721 - Stephen Colbert is one of the best political satirists ever born. His ability to make fun of people to their face and leave them believing that he's complementing them is second to none.

tina9201 - Stephen Colbert is one of a kind. His use of irony and "perfect erroneous reasoning that renders arguments logically unsound" (fallacies) isn't something I've seen any other comedian illustrate by "acting" the way he can. He's brilliant.

Jon Stewart is also brilliant. I can find another (one of a kind) comedian to compare him to - George Carlin. Carlin was a genius *and a huge loss* :( Jon Stewart has so many of his gifts as a comedian & someone who speaks truth to power.

Stephen plays the part of someone who believes the (ironic) opposite, yet he is extremely intelligent. I'm not sure who I could compare him with. It would have to be a mix of great comedians... :)

They are both awesome!!

curly789er - If Stephen Colbert and Weird Al Yankovic had the same hair length, they'd look very similar.

Although I'm a bigger fan of the Daily Show, the Colbert Report is still deserving of a spot on the top shelf of American satire (next to South Park and... who am I missing on this list? Post a follow-up comment!).
