Magmma - I love using stumbleupon on my ipod touch :P
Oh and by the way, gdamac, the iphone service is 60 dollars a month, which is 720 dollars a year. Don't you just love paying too much for what a map and normal phone could get you?

musicman2000 - Drunk iTunes shopping.
I few posts down I was slightly against buying music from iTunes as opposed to the way we bought music when I was younger.
Last night I found yet one more hazard to the iPod touch/itunes store combination, Drunk itunes shopping.
Now I don't ever drink, but last night I found my self out with some friends I hadn't seen for a long time, ok a really long time, since high school. .... and I had few drinks, not a lot but enough that I was feeling pretty good, which was nice for a change. Anyway had my iPod touch hooked up to some speakers and we are all sitting around talking about the old music we used to listen too and there was a wifi connection so the next thing you know I'm at the itunes store playing those little 15 second teasers of all these songs we were talking about, and then before you know it I'm hitting the "purchase" button cause we wanted to hear the whole song, then another and another and each time 99 cents is sucked from my credit card...... fast forward to today I get my invoice emailed to me and I spent about 50 bucks on songs I more that likely already have on my computer at home! DOH!

What would you call that a LUI? listening under the influence?

Oh well, we had a great time just like the old days, but I still don't have any Album covers to look at.

gdamac - The iPod touch is pretty much a rip off. Think about it. If your considering the iPod touch, it is likely because you can't switch your phone service to AT&T for an iPhone. If this is the case it's likely that your under contract and once you're out from under it your can switch. So why not wait until then and get an iPhone? They cost the same as iPod touch and have more features (phone, camera, bluetooth, inet all the time). Apple says the touch costs the same as the phone because AT&T is paying $200 on every phone, but what does that matter to the consumer? To us, they are both the same value because we will never have to pay to higher price. Plus, if you buy an ipod touch now, it's a waste once you have your iPhone. But for $250 and iPod classic will be a great companion to your iPhone once you get it. Plus, by the time you can get an iPhone, it will likely be the next generation and better than the current one. Only way you buy the touch is if you are never going to get an iPhone.
