I still use it. Like so many sites, it was created by some cleaver individuals as a simple but through IT/computer dictionary and glossary. It became popular, and, as with so many other cleaver ideas/sites, the creators sold out to a larger commercial enterprise. Now is a sophisticated search engine with a lot of advertising. Some times I find it hard to see what I am searching for for all the "noise". Does Wikipedia do better? These days, probably yes. But I still use it.
