we have entered the era of mass personalization; everyone wants to express their individuality in many aspects of their lives; we really see this trend with the myspace generation; they personalize everything from their style of dress (think t-shirts from <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.cafepress.com">cafepress</a>, <a rel="nofollow" href="http://www.threadless.com">threadless</a>, etc.) to their cars to their myspace pages;

gigya allows this generation to even customize their email; the company allows users to enter a few snippits of html code and have custom email; one can use a custom template, choose from the many offered by gigya or simply use their existing myspace layout; as <a rel="nofollow" href="http://mashable.com/2006/11/05/gigya-brings-myspace-layouts-to-email/">mas hable</a> points out, it wil be interesting to see if the myspace generation that mainly communicates via im (synchronous) and member messaging in social networks (asynchronous) will warm up to email]]></description>
